Friday night walk

She found this so funny.

Mike's new baby.
She did pretty good walking. Still super timid, but she'll improve.

What a time to need a cast.
Biking season (and a new bike to boot).
Swimming season. Outdoors at least.

Swimsuit ready. Sparkly cast .
Sad face.
Luckily the neighbor told us about a cover that can help with this.

Maybe only really meant for the shower, but in small does this really works well!
And thanks to our neighbor Lynn,  all the kids got to enjoy the pool on a hot July day!

Someone saw this.

Yes, we can look at getting a dog.

look

Mary, look at this beautiful dog.

Cooper?
Yes! A playmate.

Finn?
Fine by me, I'll just stay outside.

Mike?

Mike??!

Roman? Zoe?

Mary?

Welcome to the family, Phoenix

New baby cousin!

Lena, born June 27.

And I can't wait to go back and curl up with this little snuggle bug again!

Exploding Kittens?

We HAD TO HAVE this game. Roman came home from summer camp/daycare telling us what a fun game this was. Yeah, it's pretty good. Still waiting for him to refresh our memory on how to play some other card games.

Bowling (for laughs)

We had a lot of fun bowling a couple weeks ago.
There's a program where kids can bowl 2 games a day free all summer long. We're signed up.

We pretty much suck, but there are fun animations (think jib jab) based on your performance.  Couldn't wait to go back again, until later that night....

This girl was trying to learn to rollerblade and broke her arm (wrist).
Dad drew the 2 cats on the splint, and one other creature who was on his radar....Guess we're not bowling for awhile.

Go, Freeze!

Trying out soccer this year.
It's fast paced and I find it to be more exciting to watch than tball.
Lets see if they stick with it...thinking no, but we'll see.

At the ballpark, finally.

Got rained out the first time.

And the second time apparently had a 'let's balance this on my head' theme.

MUST have

At the end of school it was a must have. Fidget spinner.
I ordered one off Amazon for Roman, he didn't have quite enough money but signed an IOU for $5. Within 3 days of receipt it was broken. And come to think of it he hasn't paid me yet.
A few weeks later Michael's had the 2 for one, plus the option to 'bling' it out. I got one too, it's still in pristine condition. Pretty sure Roman's is broken and Zoe has lost hers.
Ah. Kids.

Friday night in St Paul

Fair play.

Rice Park

And then a production of Circus 1903 at the Ordway, which we all enjoyed. Even the child who whined that he didn't want to go.

Father's Day

Cars 3 at the Oakdale complete with "dreamliner" recliners and a massive amount of popcorn that Roman substantially ate on his own. Mom didn't nod off mid movie or anything. No, no she didn't.

And then a bike ride on the kids new bikes.

Summer games, summer refreshment

Llamas, part 3

Llamas, part one

We made a visit with Zoe's friend Keira, Grandma B, Uncle Andy and cousin Audrey.
It was as lovely as ever!
