Double Double Yolk ?!?

I know, I know, I know, I have been lacking or slacking the last couple of times. But I hopefully made it up by posting not one but two Double Yolks!! The first one is Roman, carrying on the Yoda theme... just a small but funny qoute from the best of the six movies - The Empire Strikes Back!

And the second is Zoe, going out to all the kids out there stuck at home with Dad at dinnertime.

Daddy is such a fan of Star Wars (his two Persian Cats are named after Ewoks!) You gave the Chicago Bull Look (from here on out to be dubbed CBL) and did it ever look like Yoda. See below pic for the before shots. That might have to be the 1st Halloween costume!

Not quite sure what Zoe's thought was here, but Mommy says you get the inherited "Chicago Bull" look. Apparently Daddy gets that, I know Grandpa Mike gets that and Uncle Rob. Its a Dads side of the family thing. But when we first saw this picture we thought of Different Strokes - "What you talkin about , Willis?" - from Arnold. And the bunny ears just screamed to include Elmer!

Double Yolk Milestone! One Half Year!

Well, we made it to 6 months! It is amazing how things have changed since you two have arrived. From being afraid of bringing you out of the nursery (in the first weeks of having you home) to letting you roll all over the living room floor! Now that the weather is getting nice, our world is getting even bigger. Outdoors we go! There are so many things to do, all of them new for you two, I started to keep a journal (Thanks Auntie Kitty) to keep a check list. So lets get to doing those things - 6 at a time!

Double Yolk - The New Sunday Funnies!

Hi all. I know what you're thinking, and you're probably right. (Sorry, Magnum PI reference) I have read the Sunday funnies before. They dont draw them like they used to. Well, in the absense of a full time time job, and me milling about, Mommy and I came up with this:

Our own Sunday Funnies. Every Sunday from now on, there will be a post with a picture of you two (Roman and Zoe) with a comic book type caption. Usually with some kinda joke or punchline, hence the name Double Yolk - a play on words - doulble yolk meaning twins like you guys and double joke - but in many langauges "J" is pronounced as a "Y". Now I know most of the adult fanbase will get this (hopefully) but I had to spell it out for when Zoe and Roman read this, anyways, ever onward, ever onward. Well with out further delay, here will be the first installment. Enjoy!
