A flower for you, mommy!

Courtesy of dad's careful gardening.

Up next, a little something for my sweet tooth.

Playing kickball, observing flowers, lounging around and hangin' with the cos'ns

I choo choose you...

I spy a train.

I spy Grandpa Jon on that train!

And Roman and Mommy and Zoe and Daddy!

Lucky us got to go on a ride on a train on Sunday. There's a club in Western Wisconsin that opens up 5 days a year to give rides to the public. AMAZING - we took a 10-15 minute ride thru the woods, over bridges, and thru a tunnel. Awesome! No cameras allowed during the ride, but Zoe and Roman seemed to enjoy it. I think they'll continue to appreciate it as the years go by. I think your uncle Andy enjoyed this when he was little and after that your uncle cousin Zach (who was very much "into" Thomas the tank engine).

For sure this will be an annual pilgrimage. :)

Yee haw or to infinity and beyond

Look who we met yesterday.

Jesse the Cowgirl and Buzz!
Wow.God bless these people - part of our town "festival".

We couldn't keep the kids by our side until these two showed up, then I got the nice, clamoring hugs.

I scream!

If I have time before this is scheduled to post I will add, but maybe it's enough to say this is the first ice cream cone.
how good it is.

Fun as Miss Kitty's

Kitty was nice enough to have us over for a play date with her niece Frances, aka Frankie.

It took a few minutes to acclimate(doesn't it always), but they started to have fun.

I mean with a hammock and Kitty to help swing it, who wouldn't?

It was such a nice day, sitting in the grass (in the shade!).

Or maybe it was because they kids were entertained. By Frankie's mom Becca,

by Kitty and...

Who's that I spy?

Frankie's older brother Jack perhaps?

Yes! Playing a little hide and go seek (which they've taught Frankie - it's adorable when she covers her eyes and counts). Jack was a big help with the twins that day. Thanks Jack!

And thanks Kitty for having us over, it was a lot of fun.

Ah I'm still surprised by these Scotch Pine. I mean the first time I saw them I thought they were so ugly, then I really liked them because they were so ugly. Lesson from your mom, kids: You go too far off the middle and you get to be the same thing (works for politics, religion, all those hot topics).

And I'm still surprised when I look at RahRah and see the fine blond hair.

Somehow I'm not surprised by Zoe's inclination to boss her brother around (A little to the left, Rah Rah).
