Trying to make the house more hospitable, or maybe just easier to take care of. Utilizing the space, or maybe maximizing the space is a better description. I really don't mind a small house. Other than location, location, location (!) the only thing lacking is the dining space. I want to be able to host Thanksgiving/Christmas and we can't do it now. We'll work on it....
For now we host Ro Zo.
We picked up a couple of stackable high chairs at IKEA. We went and ate dinner there again on Tuesday - I was able to meet the family down there after work. It's fun to sneak up on Roman and Zoe and give them a big smile and a "hi". The look on their faces is priceless. Although it's just as nice when I get home at night. Usually Roman comes running or at least walking fast and wants a hug/pick up. Zoe smiles. Big smiles.
Tonight Daddy made sloppy joes. Note the rosy cheeks :)
