And yes, it ties back to "summer's here!". We finally get to a point where we don't have to bundle up to go outside and the State (or the county in this case, the state is still "shut down" due to a budget breakdown) decides to start messing with the roads. There's usually a few weeks of construction free driving. Or perhaps you're getting slowed down by "pavement failure", i.e. the road explodes due to the heat. The seems to be happening frequently as well. Good. times.
