The other morning I gave the kidlets yogurt for breakfast. We've been letting the kids eat just about everything with their hands (not a lot of liquidy type foods going in) and the spoons don't make much of an appearance, at least with mama.
Zoe saw that spoon and wanted it. She's a strong little bugger. So I gave it to her. I let her play with it a bit and figure it out (Roman eagerly and happily ate half the yogurt in the meantime). Then I showed Zoe how to USE the spoon. It took her a few attempts, but she got it!
She wasn't exactly proficient, but she was dipping it in the yogurt and tasting.
Way to go, Zo!
She does have an independent streak.
