We're ready

Scratch that, we're more than ready.
We had a super stupendous nice day yesterday and since it was my day off, I was able to get out and enjoy it with you two (and a picnic lunch as a family, with your Dad). I'm prepared to call it the official beginning of spring. Yeah, I know officially that already happened, but you have to be careful in Minnesota to attach yourself too closely with those calendar milestones. It doesn't mean mother nature isn't going to "bless" you with her wintry mix.  But I'm confident that this is is, we're on our way to warmer weather. And this, my little ones, is a beautiful thing to behold. Spring is rebirth and renewed energy. It's excitement and happiness and thankfulness for sun, glorious sun!

And time to get out there and enjoy the outdoors.

Take a walk. Look skyward.

We were able to get up to St Cloud this past Saturday to have a short visit with Sister Helenette. Since we were up there, we decided to check out the Munsinger and Clemens Gardens. Yeah, it's too early, but we now know to go back when the plants are growing and the flowers blooming.

Remnants of snow remained from the last snowstorm (see what I mean about relying on the calendar for seasonal cues?!)

But you had fun trotting down the paths and checking out the giant fountain, even if there was no water yet.

We walked down to the Mississippi. Picture of you 3? No thanks, said Ms Zoe (and cheese said Roman).

You guys were having too much fun picking up acorns. The world is never boring.
