Since daddy had a home improvement project that required his little helpers to be out of the house we decided to take a mini road trip and go visit Sister Helenette.
Your grandpa Jon joined us and boy was I glad because I couldn't have handled the munchkins without a second adult. I'm too spoiled by your daddy. He's so good with you two.
We stopped at McDonalds for lunch along the way. Your grandpa helped feed you some yummy fries and chicken nuggets. Mama frazzled trying to locate 2 high chairs (that place was packed, and it didn't help that it had a play area- something of a magnet for families with small kids...). We settled in and you two enjoyed your lunch.
Then we got to see Sister Helenette.

Come on, sit nicely on her lap...
Not so much for Zoe.
Roman had a few still moments.
But most non-grabbing, pointing, trying to dislodge books from the shelf moments were filled with eating crackers (goldfish and graham!) and sipping juice. Foods a good distraction.
