Maple Grove does a kids parade as part of their city festival. We went last year and decided this could be fun.
Your dad created the Wonderpets "flyboat" from your little red wagon.
Complete with sail and thrusters (??) on the back.
We even have a little girl come over and check out the flyboat. Her dad said it was one of her favorite shows (mixed in with George and Dora). Sounds familiar. Well except the Dora part. (No cable for you! Thank God for PBS)
Mom made you some capes, you have to have the cape!
Katie helped out - here she is with Zoe and her Mom checking out the action at the puppet show after the parade.
Katie, sweetheart that she is, gave her blue cape to the little girl who visited us. I promised her a replacement (which I've yet to make good on!).
Kitty, Becca, Calvin, Jack and Frankie joined us too.
It was a hot night (and about the time I started to re-think the going out routine), but it was fun.
