Crow-Hassan Park Reserve

Yes, another Three Rivers Park, but this time with your Dad (finally!)

We knew nothing about this one, but it was one we hadn't visited before. We found a nice little picnic spot near the parking lot and had lunch before venturing out.

Because this one is really out further, it is more natural.  Apparently this trail was supposed to be "horse free".  We found evidence to the contrary.  Yes, we like apples; no we don't like them apples.

And every boy needs a walking stick.

And a girl to lead him.

Examining something.

Proclaiming himself righteous leader of the stick men.

Love the sumac. I hope this is sumac.

And so glad to have Dad along with us (even if we were cranky with each other...funny how that happens sometimes).

What a wonderful part of the woods! And as I write, I bet it's even more wonderful (we seem to be at peak color time for the fall....even if it's in the high 80's today!)

Somebody else saw the joy of carrying a big stick.

Horses!

And a shot with Dad. Yay!
