But that's what happens when we go, go, go.
Here are from pictures from our first trip on the restored streetcar. We ended up going back this weekend!
It was a warm day, so the windows were open. We kept a firm grasp on you two- nothing else to keep you from falling out that big old window!
Even though it's a supershort ride, it's long enough to have some fun.
The train stops at one point and the volunteer conductor stops to share a little bit about the train. Zoe started crying. Not that she doesn't enjoy a good history lesson (wait, who am I kidding??), but she didn't want the streetcar to stop.
Go, go, go!
How about a nice picture with mom at the station?
Ah, no thanks.
But we can wave bye bye as it goes on it's next journey.
I'd highly recommend this if you're close to Lake Harriet. Go to http://www.trolleyride.org/ for more information. We're getting to the end of the season, although it looks like there are some activities for Halloween and Christmas. The Public library has 2 free passes as part of their Museum Adventure Pass program (http://www.melsa.org/MuseumAdventurePass/index.cfm). But even if you have to pay, it's just $2 and keeps these replicas going. All aboard!
