Time to celebrate (some more)!

We had a 2nd birthday party the weekend after you turned two. A little smaller this year, but I guess no less extravagant.  We borrowed a bouncy house from our daycare provider (Thanks Shawn!). And then we bought it from her! It'll be a lot of fun next summer.  More pictures of that later...

Miss K. came walking over with Zoe, both with flowers in their hair. Miss Z ripped it out before I could snap a photo (of course). But K is looking pretty cute, no?

And Roman...

Miss K took to the dance floor with Zoe as well. We put on the greatest hits from the Toy Story movies and Zoe went right to it, complete with "Yee haw!". No kidding. At some point Z went barefoot. First the shoes came off for the bouncy house. Well if the shoes are off, so are the socks. And it wasn't exactly warm, even if the sun was out. Didn't seem to bother her.

Roman had fun checking out one of the worm(ies!) from the cake.

Then on to gift time - there were lots of fun things. Below is a lunchbox from Uncle Dave- decorated with Lightening McQueen.

 Zoe got a Tinkerbell one.

 And lots more fun stuff...

And a hat! A nice warm princess hat. Zoe is setting a trend - ear flaps up front and in back, kind of a Napoleonic look.

Lots of tissue and wrapping to play with. We're lucky that is still fun. :)

Fillmore from Cars. And Sarge too.

and the best shirt I've seen in awhile:

Yep, that's true. Thanks Grandpa Mike.

And big boy sheets, decorate with - what else?- Cars. For when we transition to the toddler bed, which I'm in no hurry to do. Why let them have the ability to roam?!  You two aren't climbing out yet (although I'm sure I jinxed that one!), so in the cribs you stay. We could use these sheets now in the crib and maybe be will, but I think we'll wait until we (or I!) need a change of pace. A change of scenery. A distraction. Something like that.

You got some adorable backpacks too- Zoe is checking out the contents of hers.

And Miss K was looking pretty again with gift bag filler, or as Zoe calls it "nest", on her head.
