We might have to do installments on this one. I didn't get as many photos and I'd like, but hopefully the relatives will fill in the empty spots.
First off, your uncle Andy came home from his girlfriend Laura's house carrying two big boxes. He said "you'll never guess what Laura got me" and walked into Grandpa Ba's office to assemble something. Grandma B guessed "a festivus pole"? That would be a reference to Seinfeld. Let's just say that tv show has been watched quite a bit in the B household. Mom had no idea...

Yes, yes it is.
The Leg Lamp made famous in the movie A Christmas Story. Uncle Andy said this is going up every Christmas. So perhaps we've started a new (extended) family tradition. We'll have to make this the inaugural "Christmas gathering next to the Leg".

The Leg Lamp, also known as a "Major Award". Got to love this family. Laura fits right in. Uncle Andy gifted everyone in the family each with a certificate saying, "To celebrate the holiday season, a donation has been made in your name to THE HUMAN FUND". Seinfeld fans will know.
